We’re big fans of quirky, beautiful, intelligent actress Ginnifer Goodwin. We’ve yet to find a character she’s played that we don’t like, and while many of her roles seem similar, we think she manages to find the nuances of the woman every time she’s onscreen. We remember when she first started out, playing a quirky, bespectacled teenager on Ed. Since then, she’s had memorable roles in everything from He’s Just Not That Into You to Big Love. These days, you’ll find her starring as a modern day Snow White on Once Upon a Time.
According to the feature in Elle, Ginnifer “chose her airy two-bedroom house in Whitley Heights, a Hollywood Hills enclave where Charlie Chaplin once resided, for its seclusion, but also because of its only-in-Tinsletown bachelorette-pad pedigree: Goodwin bought the place in 2007 from Busy Phillips, and previous tenants include Rachel Bilson and Rose McGowan.”

L.A. Nights in Her Own Bed
These days, Goodwin is no longer a bachelorette; she’s engaged to her Once Upon a Time costar Josh Dallas (who, it must be noted, plays Prince Charming on the show. How cute?). Ginny, as her friends call her, films her popular show in Vancouver, but tells the glossy she sometimes makes quick trips home to L.A. jus to spend one night in her own bed. We hear that – we can’t imagine living like a nomad all the time. There’s nothing like a night in your bed!

When Ginnifer moved in, she enlisted Amy Kehoe of design firm Nickey Kehoe to help her decorate. According to Elle, Kehoe was recommended by her Big Love costar and real-life best friend Jeanne Tripplehorn. The result is a fun, colorful, funky space that is just as quirky as she is. It’s homey and quaint, and not at all “overdesigned” like many of the celebrity homes we see. We can see a real person living here, can’t you?
