Industrial Loft - Bookends

Chances are that anyone who loves industrial style décor also has an abundance of books stacked throughout their home. Books on art, style, history, fashion and of course design and interiors are all typical of an Industrial Loft library’s contents. At the outset of the style, when loft spaces in old factories and warehouses were devoid of any built in storage or shelving, finding a place for all of those books was a challenge faced by almost all of the artists and creative types who pioneered loft living. In keeping with the Industrial Loft style tradition of reworking and reimagining found objects, bookends in this style are often weighty piece cast in iron. Industrial gears, vintage ephemera and children’s décor and even simple metal spheres welded to “L” shaped frames all make stylish solutions to managing the collection of Industrial Loft style bookworms.
