Hi there, cuties! Reporting to you live from my ultimate happy place: Southampton! My summer out East has been lovely so far–it’s been great to connect with customers at our flagship store and to take part in plenty of events (you can see our full schedule HERE) with some very exciting partners.
Most recently, I am so excited to share some oh-so-gorg images of an event we participated in with KDHamptons and Lux Magazine! On July 3, 2022, my team and I had the pleasure of designing some outdoor lounge and dining vignettes for an exclusive celebration of the Lux Magazine 2022 Hot List (yours truly was named Hottest Interior Designer!) at the Water Mill home of KDHamptons founder (and my dear friend) Kelli Delaney Kot.
This serene garden party featured artisanal summer bites, cool cocktails, and a curated offering of summer’s greatest gifts–in short, it was truly the stuff of summer dreams!

Creating a Backyard Oasis–Hamptons Style
With the goal of creating a casually elegant setting that was equal parts refined, fresh, and comfortable, my Design Team and I crafted several summer party vignettes with Kelli’s breathtaking property and serene maple trees as our inspiration and backdrop.
We pulled so many must-have summer entertaining pieces from the Kathy Kuo Southampton store from some of my fave brands, like MATCH Pewter (shoutout to all the regular Kuotes readers who know how obsessed I am with pewter!), Juliska, Vietri, Arte Italica, Jaipur, and Oly Studio (just to name a few).
I am really just in awe–as usual–at what our Designers can accomplish and make it look easy-breezy. Once everything was in place, the look was a simply a garden party vision-board made real!

Mingling with the Hamptons’ Hottest
Of course, we can’t forget that the main event was celebrating Lux Magazine’s 2022 Hot List! I was so honored to be named Hottest Interior Designer by a publication I truly love, and also to be in great company with so many other amazing East End pros.
In addition to my wonderful KKH colleagues, our hostess Kelli Delaney Kot, and Lux’s founder and editor Colleen Richmond, notable attendees included designer Tom Samet, CBS news anchor Chris Wragge, luxury travel founder Melanie Brandman, editor-at-large of HC&G Alejandro Saralegui, and founder of Briogeo Hair Care Nancy Twine.
