Hi there, cuties! You all know I’m a proud mama myself, so I know just how important it is to feel prepared when baby arrives. A complete baby registry is essential when you’re expecting, and these days, with the rise of universal registries online, you don’t have to build your baby registry just through one website or retailer.
“I love the tools offered by universal registry sites like BabyList and MyRegistry! Here at KKH we offer a truly *insane* assortment of the very best nursery furniture and decor offerings, but we don’t yet offer gear like strollers, car seats, or baby bottles–so a universal registry tool is so amazing for our expectant-parent shoppers.”
If you’re working on nursery prep and want to register for our best-selling cribs, bassinets, changers, gliders, and high chairs from beloved baby brands like Aristot, Babyletto, DockATot, Namesake, Monte Design, Nursery Works, Oeuf, Stokke, and many more…read on for all the details you need to know about using the most popular universal registries with ease at KKH!
How to Add Kathy Kuo Home Products to Your BabyList Registry
BabyList has long been known as one of the best universal registry tools out there and also offers a great editorial channel with plenty of tips for parents-to-be and new parents. Of course, I love that our KKH shoppers can so easily add the BabyList plugin to their browser and use it to instantly add our nursery items to their registry. Here are some helpful tips for the best experience:
First, add the BabyList button to your bookmarks bar. Once you’ve set up an account with BabyList, you can visit their Button How-To page to walk through adding to your browser:
The button will appear in your browser, as you see below (shown with Chrome):
Now, you’re all set to use your button on all of your favorite Kathy Kuo Home nursery furniture and decor must-haves! Just click the button once you’re on the product detail page of an item you’d like to add–you’ll get a pop-up like this:
Helpful registry tip: When you add a KKH product to your BabyList registry, the price will appear on your registry as whatever it is at the time of product addition–meaning that if you add an item at full price, and then it later goes on sale, you will NOT see the price change automatically on your BabyList registry (also vice versa, if an item is on sale when you add it, and then the sale ends).
We would recommend making an entry in the “Note for friends and family” box in the popup if you’re adding an item that is currently on sale. Just note that the sale price may be only for a limited time and to always double check the current price before purchasing! You can also use this box to make notes about your color or size preference on a given item, or whether there are related accessories you’d like purchased as well (like conversion kits for cribs that are able to grow with baby).

How to Add Kathy Kuo Home Products to MyRegistry.com
MyRegistry.com is very similar to BabyList–it’s a service offering a universal registry tool that allows you to add products from any website to a registry online that you can share with friends and family. They also offer wedding registry services as well if that’s of interest to you (obvi, we sell amazing wedding gift options!). Like BabyList, MyRegistry offers a handy browser plugin. Here are some tips:
First, create an account with MyRegistry and use their Our Browser Extension page to add their button to your browser of choice:
The button will appear like this in your browser (shown here in Chrome):
Once you have the button installed, simply click the icon when you want to add a product from Kathy Kuo Home to your registry. You’ll get a pop-up that looks like this–click the green button to proceed with the addition:
Next, you’ll see a pop-up like the one below. One important thing to note about the MyRegistry tool is that it will fill the price of ANY given item as $100, but the price field in the pop-up can be edited:
To avoid confusion when sharing your registry with loved ones, we highly recommend that you take a moment to manually edit the price in the pop-up to match the listed price on our website. Like with the BabyList tool, MyRegistry provides a space for adding notes–use this field to make note of color or size preferences, as well as whether or not the item is on sale when you updated the price.
