Happy summer, cuties! I am thrilled to share a very special announcement that I’ve ben keeping under wraps for months now! This summer, Kathy Kuo Home will be heading out East to Southampton for our first-ever in-person retail space!
Kathy Kuo Home Southampton will officially open at 30 Jobs Lane starting June 15, and will give shoppers in-person access to our curated assortment of furniture and decor, luxury interior design firm, and specialized resources for the trade community. I’m seriously so excited to connect with as many of you as possible out in Southampton–a town that I truly love and have been spending summers in for years–especially after a year when it seemed like in-person shopping might never be back.
We really thought through how we wanted to tell our story and the types of products we wanted to have. With the merchandise we chose for the store, it was all about the experience that we wanted to share with customers, and the experience we wanted to have was as if you were entering into someone’s home–my home. There’s great music and rosé flowing all day. All of our upholstery items are in performance fabrics, which means that they’re kid-proof, pet-proof, and life-proof, basically…because home is a place you can bring your pets and your kids into.

I’ve been working closely with my amazing interior design and merchandising teams to curate and personalize each and every detail of the 4,000 square-foot store, and it truly is an immersive and luxurious experience. It’s a space we want you to never want to leave. We really had to be very edited with the products we wanted to sell in store–online, we have thousands of products, but in store we can only have a couple hundred. We opted for more of an intimate, home lifestyle feel, rather than a traditional shop where we’re just trying to sell products.
Our Southampton store will feature a super-luxe assortment of our best-sellers–including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, and decor offerings in our most-loved styles (hello, Coastal Beach, French Country, and Modern Classic!). We are selling some of the most exquisite hostess gifts and some brands that are hard to track down–we’re flying a lot of product in from France. Every last finishing detail has been designed by our in-house design team, and our goal is to educate you on service and design. Hopefully you’ll walk away with a memorial experience and a new idea of how to love where you live.
Plus, because I can never resist a good party, all summer long our space will also be used for brand partnerships, immersive events, and designer pop-ups to engage the local community and visitors of Southampton. Have I mentioned that Southampton is my ultimate happy place!?

Introducing Kathy Kuo Home Collection
I’m also over the moon to announce that our Southampton space will also serve as the launch point for Kathy Kuo Home’s exclusive upholstery line, Kathy Kuo Home Collection–a project I’ve been working on for so long and I just can’t wait to share with you all IRL! The Collection includes sofas in exclusive fabrics and silhouettes as well as a line of pillows exclusively available from Kathy Kuo Home. We will also have hi-tech resources on hand that blend the online and physical retail shopping experiences, letting shoppers interact with KKH pieces on the floor while also having access to our entire assortment and product information online. The future is here, cuties!
In addition, our in-house KKH interior design firm will have a presence at the new location, allowing prospective and existing clients to meet one-on-one with a designer for any project needs. I’m happy to say that appointments can be scheduled in-person or on the Kathy Kuo Home website. Plus, for anyone with COVID concerns, we’re also offering private shopping hours that can be booked online.

A Hamptons Haven for the Interior Design & Trade Community
Of course, me being me, I couldn’t stop at having our space just be a retail store! At KKH Southampton, our in-house interior designer will have an active presence, allowing prospective and existing clients to meet one-on-one with a designer for any project needs. And the best part is that you can schedule your in-person consults on the Kathy Kuo Home website, just like you would for an e-design consult. So easy!
The space will also serve as a special destination for the interior design community through our in-store designer resource center. Open to trade members, the section of the store will have exclusive access to a library of product swatches and samples from high-end brand partners and a private seating area to house any client meetings. I just can’t wait to host my amazing peers in the interior design world in this gorgeous space!
