Hi cuties! I’m excited to kick off the month of October not with trick…but with the oh-so-lovely treat of introducing you all to our latest Trade Spotlight designer: Paige Goodloe of Paige Goodloe Interiors!
Paige Goodloe Interiors is a full-service residential design firm based out of Atlanta, GA; and though the company is based in Atlanta, they’re proud to take on clients all up and down the East Coast and nationwide. Paige describes her style as traditional, but also full of fun, personality, and pops of inspiration from her travels and from antiques from different eras.
“I have been working with the KKH Trade Program for over two years. The customer service is beyond anyone else in the business. If something ever arrives damaged, they work tirelessly to make it right immediately.” -Paige Goodloe
When she’s not mixing and matching Biedermeier pieces with florals and animal prints as she designs sophisticated, yet totally comfy and livable, spaces for her clients, Paige loves to spend quality time with her husband, two young sons, and baby daughter born just this past summer (you all know I love my fellow design mamas!). Read on to learn more about how Paige Goodloe approaches design, business, and staying inspired!
Tell our readers about your business—what are your specialities and core offerings?
Paige Goodloe Interiors is a full service residential interior design firm specializing in a fresh, personalized approach to classical design. Our ultimate goal is to create beautiful spaces that feel comfortable and can be lived in by people of all ages as well as our furry friends!
“We want our spaces to be elegant, but also casual enough for the whole family to enjoy.”
Do you have a favorite interior design style to work with on projects?
I am a traditionalist at heart, but with a mix. I have never met a Biedermeier piece, rock crystal lamp, or animal print that I didn’t love. I tend to like a little bit of fancy thrown into every project! I love to incorporate color and fun prints into projects. I also find patterns hide stains better over time.
“Our goal, when creating any space, is to reflect the owner’s personality in the design.”

How would you describe the style of your own home? What’s your favorite piece of furniture or decor that you own?
My style of my own home is a mix of old and new. I tend to like new upholstered pieces, but then to mix in an antique side table with it. It truly is all in the mix!
“My favorite piece of furniture I own is a Biedermeier chest I found at Scott’s Antique Market that had one leg missing but was exquisite. It was a diamond in the rough—the best part was it was only $150 dollars! It was a major score!”
My other favorite piece in my house is a chinoiserie chest I found at an estate sale years back. It sits in my dining room and is so special. As you can see I love the treasure hunt and finding unique pieces that mean something to me!
Tell us about a notable project from the past few years.
I just finished up a large renovation for a historic house in New Orleans. We worked for over two years on it and halfway through my clients found out they were expecting a third child. We had to turn the third story attic into a playroom and nursery right at the end. They trusted the whole process and really let us design and it turned out beautifully.

What have been some of the biggest joys and challenges you’ve faced in your career in the design industry?
One of my biggest joys is having my sister work alongside me. It has been a joy to work with her every day! A challenge in my career is still dealing with long lead times and sometimes clients that do not understand beautiful things take a little bit of time.
What advice would you give someone who wants to work with an interior designer on their home, but they feel intimidated or hesitant?
Just put yourself out there and reach out to a designer that you admire and would want to work with. The great thing about today’s world is that your designer doesn’t have to be local. Facetime and mailing packages really make anything possible!

Speaking to fellow design pros: What advice do you have about working a challenging client or overcoming unforeseen obstacles on a project?
Sometimes you have to stick to your guns and know your worth. If you are being treated poorly you have to know your self worth.
Where do you draw the most inspiration from as a designer?
I draw so much inspiration from my fellow designers. Instagram has become such an important tool in this day in age and I am constantly saving beautiful images of spaces I love to a folder on instagram.
I also draw inspiration from my travels. Whether it be a trip to South Georgia with my family or on a girls weekend to the North Carolina mountains. I am always out shopping exploring new shops and taking pictures of architecture and pretty details.
