We’ve got an entire Pinterest board dedicated to black and white rooms, so it’s no surprise that we fell hard for this room, which we spotted on La Dolce Vita. It’s a living/dining space designed by Jeffrey Alan Marks, and it’s part of an uber-chic Nantucket cottage. Does it look familiar? That’s because it was featured on the last season of Million Dollar Decorators. You may recall Jeffrey’s freakout over the fact that the client wanted to use exclusively catalogue sources. Quel dommage! Of course, the final result is beyond beautiful, a black and white retreat that’s polished but laid back at the same time. While it feels like a seaside home, it’s not done in the traditional seaside color scheme, which only makes us love it all the more. It’s proof that a home can be beachy without being blue. What do you think? Love it? We’d move in right away if asked!
We’re pretty obsessed with these dining chairs! That chevron fabric contrasted with the bright white wooden frames is a match made in heaven. And that oversized glass table keeps the space feeling casual and light while still looking chic as can be.
A linen couch, a woven jute rug, a chic whitewashed wood desk…what’s not to love? This might be the prettiest office space we’ve seen in a while. To see more of Jeffrey Alan Marks’ work, click here.
